Exeter has its own international airport, which is situated approximately 6-miles (20 minutes) from the city centre. The city is also very well served by all major road and rail links. Commercial companies provide bus and train travel locally as well as for long distance travel to and from Exeter.

Travelling by Train
Exeter has two main-line stations that link out to most major UK cities with a journey to or from London taking about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Both stations are conveniently sited for the city centre with Exeter Central station being the closest with a 3 minutes walk to the High Street. Whilst Exeter St Davids is located down the hill approximately 15-minutes walk or a 5 minutes bus ride from the city centre.

Getting About
Once in Exeter's centre - mini buses run at regular intervals. It is possible to get to almost any area you should wish to go via this system of transport. Another method is the city's taxi and private hire vehicle service. The taxis are available from various taxi ranks around the city centre or by telephone arrangement to the place you require. Taxis are also available at Exeter Airport, Exeter Bus station and Exeter St. Davids railway station.
