About this event

Join Exeter Food Action for a fun, family-friendly festival celebrating the charity’s work rescuing surplus food and inspiring simple ways to reduce food waste. Enjoy cookery demonstrations, talks, and family activities, with practical sessions on fermentation, food preservation, cooking with surplus fruit and growing your own produce.

Families can also get involved before the day through a special ‘Food Waste Hero’ competition featured in Primary Times and on Exeter Food Action’s website. To take part, families can download or cut out and complete the form, then bring it along to the festival to receive a ‘Food Waste Hero’ certificate and be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Amazon voucher.

Part of Princesshay’s We Can Do More Week, the festival is a great chance to pick up useful tips, save money and discover easy ways to make a difference at home.
