Last week we grabbed a short break in the wet weather and explored a 1.5-mile circular walk from Dunsford Road along Hambeer Lane. With a charming horse encounter, glimpses of Exeter Cathedral, and views down to the village of Ide, it’s a perfect quick countryside escape close to the city.
